Played in 115 games and started all 35 matches as a junior...Ended the season third on the squad in block solos (8) and digs per game (2.63), sixth in kills per game (2.04) and service aces (12)...Recorded double-doubles against Saint Louis (11 kills, 18 digs) and Duquesne (13 kills, 15 digs)...Had six kills and 13 digs in the win over No. 17 Purdue on Aug. 31.

2006
Appeared in just 28 games over 15 matches following injury...Had her best match of the season against Temple on Oct. 6 with eight digs...Finished with two kills in just six attempts at Illinois...Added another two kills and a dig against Tulane...Collected five kills and six digs versus Wright State...Had five digs in four games played at Cincinnati.

2005
Played in 33 of 35 matches during her rookie season including all 13 conference matches...Showed steady improvement throughout the season and earned three A-10 Rookie of the Week honors before finishing with a seasonhigh 23 kills in the NCAA First Round match at #11 Notre Dame...Tallied doublefigures in kills during 24 of 28 matches to close out the season...Ranked third on the team and led all freshman in kills...Finished fourth overall and best among Flyer freshman in blocks...Made her collegiate debut in the season-opening win over Bradley with four blocks, a kill and a dig...Posted 20-kill performances in wins over Eastern Kentucky (20) and Duquesne (21).

Was an All-State selection for three years at Bishop Chatard High School...Named First Team All-State as a senior and Second Team All-State as a sophomore and junior...Also a three-time All-City selection and two-time Indiana All-Star...Also a three-time All-State selection in Track and two-time All-City pick... Named the MCGSA City Athlete of the Year following her senior year.

Parents are Paul and Julie Schneiders...Has an older brother (John) and three older sisters (Keely, Kristi and Katie)...Katie plays volleyball at Miami (Ohio)...Born August 4, 1986...A public relations major...Decided to attend UD because of the campus and she enjoyed the coaching staff on her visit.
