LEAGUE LEADING 64 DAYTON STUDENT-ATHLETES NAMED TO PFL HONOR ROLL



Dayton leads the league in honor roll recipients for seventh consecutive year.

The University of Dayton Flyer football team garnered recognition for their success in the classroom for the 2007 fall semester leading the Pioneer Football League for the seventh straight year with 64 student-athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll.

The Flyers 64 student-athletes helped the PFL tie its previous record of 336 total recipients.

The honor roll was established as a way for league to recognize its outstanding student athletes, and consists of student-athletes that posted a 3.0 grade point average or better during the fall semester.

Other schools with 40 or more recipients include Butler, Morehead State, San Diego and Valparaiso.
