AT DAYTON: Walbright moved from end to tackle in 2004, and after lettering three seasons (and starting the last two) there is back at end for his final season. He is projected in the starting lineup at his new/old position in 2007. He first lettered in 2004 after playing in eight games and with six tackles, 2.5 tackles in the backfield, and a sack. In the 2005 season, he started in all ten games. He had 19 tackles (11 unassisted) and two sacks. Last year he had 18 hits (including three in the backfield) and an interception. He was a member of the 2005 Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll. During the 2007 season David played in all 12 games for the Flyers gathering 26 tackles, 9 of which were solo tackles. David also had 3 sacks throughout the season totaling 34 yards. Walbright was the winner of the Lt. Andy Zulli Memorial Trophy for the 2007 season.

PERSONAL: Son of Phil and Camille Walbright...Born on September 22, 1984...Majoring in Exercise Science & Fitness Management...At Worthington Kilbourne, he was team captain, first team all-league, First Team All-Central Ohio and team MVP. He was also a swimmer and a member of the Latin Honor Society.
