AT DAYTON: Vossler came to UD as a linebacker, but after redshirting the 2004 season, moved to defensive end. A two-year letterwinner, he is penciled as a starter at end for the 2007 season. He played in all ten games last year, with 21 tackles (12 solo), including 2.5 tackles in the backfield and two sacks. In 2005, he was credited with 14 tackles (5 unassisted). He is a two-time member of the PFL Academic Honor Roll. During the 2007 season Scott played in all 12 games for the Flyers getting 68 tackles, 32 solo and 36 assisted. He also had 9 sacks on the season for a combined 67 yards. Vossler received first team Sports Network Mid-Major All-America honors and also landed a spot on the first team All-League team.

PERSONAL: Son of Dennis and Pam Vossler...Born on June 24, 1985...Majoring in Middle Childhood Education... He was team captain in football, basketball and baseball at Memorial High. In football, he was first team all-conference and First Team All-Northwest Ohio. He averaged more than 20 points a game in basketball.
