AT DAYTON: After a knee injury, Burns returned for the 2007 season seeing action in all the of Flyers 12 games. He recorded 21 tackles, 1 recovered fumble, and an interception that he returned for a touchdown. Burns did not play in a game as a freshman.

PERSONAL: Son of Lori and Kevin Burns...Born on May 21, 1986...Majoring in Business... Burns was team captain at Libertyville High, leading his team to a state championship and a 27-1 record over the last two years. He holds the school record for interceptions in a season (10). Burns also participated in track and field.
