Prior to UD
An All-Conference selection in 2006 at Madison Area Technical College (Madison, Wi) Spaeth appeared in 53 games, batting .328 and recording a team-best 30 stolen bases for MATC. Over the past two seasons he stole 71 bases in just 78 attempts, leading the team with 56 runs and ranking second on the roster with 36 RBI. He was recognized as Conference MVP in his 2004 high school season.

An exercise science major, Spaeth was born on July 25, 1985....He is the son of Fred and Sue and has two brothers, Paul (25) and Jeremy (20).
