Started in 24 games and appeared in 33 for the Flyers...Hit his first homerun of the season against Oakland when he also went 3-for-5 with two RBI...Had a five-game hitting streak in early March during which he hit 10-for-22 (.456)...His hitting streak started at Applachian State where he had one of his best games going 4-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles...Also went 2-for-2 against Temple.
2006
Appeared in 24 games, starting 12 at designated hitter and left field during his rookie season...Collected eight hits in 40 at bats with seven runs scored and six RBI...His first collegiate hit, run scored and RBI came in UD's win over Austin Peay on Feb. 25...He had a stolen base in each of his first two games played including the second day of the season-opening doubleheader at Wofford...Belted his first career home run at High Point on March 4...Also made two pitching appearances as a reliever and did not allow an earned run in 1.0 innings of relief overall.

A three-year letterwinner at Lake Washington, which was the top ranked team in the state during his senior year...As a senior, he hit .316 with 14 RBI while recording a 5-1 record on the mound with two saves and a1.17 ERA...Also led Lake Washington to its first Kingco Conference Championship in over 10 years with a win in the Championship Game...A first-team All-Conference pick while leading his team to its second consecutive State playoff appearance...As a junior, he hit .380 with 21 RBI while tallying a 3-1 record on the mound.
